Join us for Climate Café Perth to talk and take action on the #ClimateEmergency. Due to the pandemic these meet ups will proceed in a virtual format for the time being.

Taking place on the last Tuesday of every month between now and COP26 in Glasgow in November, Climate Café Perth will present a range of speakers from the arts and culture sector to talk about how they are engaging with COP26.

After the speaker, there will be space to participate and discuss the content of their talk as well as local issues that matter to you – creating a brilliant platform for designing and amplifying local change.

Our Climate Café this evening (Tue 26 Oct) is with Bernice Pan, who founded the pioneering sustainable clothing brand DEPLOY in 2006. Bernice founded the company after writing her PHD on over-consumption and the pressing need for structural change within fashion. She uses design to make meaningful impact on people’s lives, whilst tackling the social and environmental issues endemic within the clothing industry.

She was named sustainable entrepreneur of the year 2020 by Sublime Magazine and guest lectures at Harvard Business School and The Royal College of Art, London.

Please book into the event to join us. Tickets are free. The event will take place on Zoom. A link to join the event will be emailed to you 30 minutes before the start.

If you cannot join for the next one, but would like to register your interest in being a regular attendee at Climate Café Perth please still sign up for this event which will allow us to note your interest in Climate Café and contact you in future.
