Kings Of Blues & Soul
Main St Blues Band
Lights Out By Nine
One of the top electric R&B acts to emerge from Scotland in recent years, Main St Blues play up-tempo electric blues with a broad range of R&B and funk influences. For this performance, they'll revisit their hit Fringe show, Kings Of The Blues, which pays tribute to blues legends to Freddy King, BB King and Albert King and features their extended line-up, complete with horn section.
Lights Out By Nine's origins are firmly rooted in soul music, mixed with powerhouse rhythm and blues and a dash of New Orleans funk. They have shared stages with Status Quo, Paul Carrack, Nazareth, The Zombies, Buddy Guy and Average White Band and guest vocalists over the years have included Hamish Stuart, Dan McCafferty, Ray Wilson, Jim Diamond, Rab Noakes and Tam White. Their latest album Here and Now features a crop of original soul and R&B songs delivered in the band's trademark style with Hammond organ, horns and harmonies very much to the fore.
