A communications professional with over 30 years’ experience across a range of roles and organisations, Pam worked in various marketing and media relations positions in industry before joining Perth Theatre and Concert Hall (then Horsecross Arts) as Media Relations Manager in 2008.
As the media relations voice of the organisation, Pam has established a reputation as a go-to source of carefully crafted press releases, creative feature angles, well-considered statements, pitch perfect copy and newsworthy press events.
She worked closely with the Chief Executive to maintain the profile of the organisation through the pandemic years, she successfully managed the communication plan for the £16.6m restoration and redevelopment of Perth Theatre from curtain down to its triumphant return to the Scottish theatre stage; she has organised royal visits, brought Scotland’s top theatre awards to Perth Theatre, gained front page coverage for numerous shows in top publications and persuaded colleagues to dress up as Star Wars characters, panto cows, fairy godmothers and more, all in the name of great press coverage.
As Head of External Relations, she brings her considerable project management abilities, extreme attention to detail and astute decision-making skills to a senior role in the organisation.
