Ten-year-old Janek has a vivid imagination—he’s always spinning tales and picturing himself as a superhero. When his older sister is swapped by the demonic Utopiec for a hideous changeling, no one believes him. Worse still, his worried parents send him off for the holidays to Silesia. Determined to rescue his sister from the realm of demons, Janek finds an unlikely ally in his eccentric Great-grandfather Marcin, a retired miner. The Treasurer is an adventure-packed family film steeped in Silesian mythology.
