Councillor David Illingworth was first elected to represent Almond and Earn Ward in 2017 and was appointed to the board by Perth & Kinross Council in 2022. He has also been a director of Perth Festival of the Arts since 2017. David has a strong interest in the arts and particularly enjoys Opera and Hip-Hop. In his working life, David’s career was in software development and he worked mainly in Insurance and the Civil Service.
