Corin has twelve years’ experience working in both arts and educational organisations. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a First Class Honours in Acting for Stage & Screen, she worked as a freelance artist before completing a PGDE in Secondary Education and subsequently working for Perth & Kinross Council as a Drama Teacher.
Following that she spent five years working within the Junior Conservatoire at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, coordinating programmes, managing both internal and external events and engaging young people across Scotland in the arts across multi-disciplines. Most recently she has worked for the National Youth Theatre in London as their Auditions and Courses Producer where she developed, led and implemented an ambitious and redefined programme of regional access across six cities within the UK, working with multiple educational and arts partnerships.
Corin is a passionate advocate for championing the arts across Scotland both locally and nationally. She continues working towards enabling access for all communities, and especially those who face barriers, to experience all areas of arts provision.
