Join us for the launching of this year’s Soutar Poem by Edinburgh Makar Hannah Lavery and our two past Soutar poets, Ross Mackay and Imogen Stirling, as they share their poems and reflections and discuss how Soutar inspired them and what it’s like to be a writer/playwright in Scotland today.

Hannah Lavery is the Edinburgh Makar and is this year’s Soutar poet. She has spent much time reading William Soutars’ Diary of a Dying Man and immersing herself in his life and works. She was so inspired by his writing and reflections that she felt she could write 100 poems, not just one!

Suitable for Adults and Teens, 12 years and above.

£11.50 (inc £2.50 booking fee per ticket); Disabled £6; Student/Unwaged/Young Scot/Under 26s £5
