On the evening before the Gran Fondo 2023 bicycling event rolls into Perth, Perth Film Society is thrilled to offer a cinematic celebration of cycling.
The event will kick off at 7pm in the Norie Miller Room of Perth Concert Hall, with a selection of short films showcasing some local routes that can be enjoyed by pedal power. Next will come our main feature Cycling with Moliere.
This comedy drama follows two friends and actors, Gauthier and Serge, who are different in almost every possible way, except for their love of riding bicycles. This smart literate French film follows them as they bike around the gorgeous Île de Ré, while Gauthier tries to coax grumpy Serge out of retirement to star in a play with him.
We’ve invited some cycling royalty to come along, to make this a really special evening.
