Founded in 1900, Perth Theatre is one of Scotland’s longest established producing theatres. It reopened in 2017 after an extensive redevelopment as a transformed venue with its traditional Victorian auditorium fully restored and enhanced by a new studio theatre, dedicated community rooms, a café, and spacious public areas.
Providing a launchpad for Scottish and UK talent to shine on the international stage, we host our own-produced, community and touring theatre, including a bi-annual Subscription Season, and support new writing and talent development for Perth Youth Theatre, early-career artists, and other creative practitioners. Additionally, we offer research, residency, rehearsal and performance spaces for non-building-based companies.
Our exciting mix of performances covers drama, musicals, children's shows, dance, comedy, music, community events and more. Perth Theatre also offers a range of exciting and flexible spaces for meetings, conferences and functions.
