A charming, comic and poignant tale of a group of travelling players from south of the Scottish border as they conquer the beautiful twisting, climbing and unforgiving landscape of the Highlands and Islands’ performing arts circuit. On a wing and a prayer budget, they bring those remote communities Frederick Knott's classic 1950’s thriller Dial M For Murder in 1991.

Led by the cheerful unassailable optimist Sean, the company’s spirited meanderings (complete with potent highs and hilarious lows) entertain the dwindling paying public.

Complete with internal company squabbling, the unpredictable Scottish weather, turbulent Cal Mac ferries, isolated overnight hospitality, international and local box office competition and the sluggish invincibility of a Mercedes van, the scene is gleefully set for unbelievably alarming hilarious ACT II chaos!!
